An award for the main contract is expected to be made before end of Q2 of 2019.
Dubai-based contractor Cylingas Engineering & Construction is in pole position to win the main contract. Cylingas is now the favoured bidder for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the project. The formal EPC contract is expected to be awarded to the Dubai-based contractor after the Eid al-Fitr holidays in early June. The project includes the construction of LPG storage area, marine loading arm at jetty, laying of LPG pipeline, LPG transfer pumps, road tanker loading gantry, installation of firefighting system and associated facilities.
