Adnoc LNG has received expressions of interest (EoIs) from consultancy firms on this scheme. It issued the EoI invitation for the tendering process for the conceptual study or pre-front-end engineering and design (pre-feed) and feed works on the proposed project to several oil and gas contractors on 14 October 2021. The following contractors made their EoI submissions for the pre-feed and feed tender:

Adnoc LNG has also notified consultancies that it intends to issue the pre-feed and feed tender by 10 November 2021 and award the main contract by the end of January 2022.

It is understood that the pre-FEED study is currently in progress.

Bids were recently submitted for a front-end engineering and design tender. The bidders are said to include KBR, Fluor and McDermott International of the US and engineering giant Technip Energies. 
Japan’s JGC and Chiyoda were also said to be initially eyeing the FEED job but are no longer in the fray. 
Client is expected to finalise the preferred bidder within weeks and the FEED study is likely to be carried out later this year. It plans to develop a two-train 10 million tonnes per annum liquefaction facility at Fujairah to cater to several gas markets around the world.
