Invitation to bid has been issued for the main contract on this scheme. Technical bids are scheduled to be submitted on August 17, 2022. Commercial bids are expected to be submitted on September 20, 2022.

Commercial bids have been submitted by contractors for package 2. Contractors are understood to have submitted commercial bids are :
- Archirodon (Greece)
- Petrofac Emirates LLC
- Engineering for Petroleum & Process Industries (Enppi, Egypt)
- Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon (India)
- NPCC (UAE)/Target Engineering Construction Company (UAE)/Tecnicas Reunidas (Spain)
Package 5 is expected to be tendered separately to contractors as part of a planned second phase of the sales gas pipeline upgrade project.

Client announced the award of $720m billion in contracts for package 2 to Petrofac Emirates LLC. Under the sales gas pipeline network enhancement (ESTIDAMA) programme, the new pipeline will extend ADNOC Gas’ existing pipeline network from approximately 3,200 kilometres (km) to over 3,500km, enabling the transportation of higher volumes of natural gas to customers in the Northern emirates of the UAE. This strategic pipeline extension will drive further growth for ADNOC Gas as it continues to supply sustainable gas supplies in the UAE to support the company’s strategy to increase its market share and enhance its customer base.
