Client is expected to award the two contracts within weeks, either in December 2020 or in early January 2021. UAE-headquartered Robt Stone and state-owned China Petroleum Pipeline (CPP) are understood to have emerged as frontrunners to win the two packages. The duration of the project is five years, with client looking to have 161 well tie-ins installed in the first three years, and another 157 well tie-ins to be installed in the next two years. The scope of work has been segregated into two packages, with the total number of well tie-ins to be installed almost evenly split between the packages. The contracts will have an execution period of three years, with an extendable option of two years. The value of the contracts is approximately $155m each.
