Client has begun pre-qualification for engineering, procurement and construction work on the first phase of Umm Shaif long-term development plan (LTDP-1). ADNOC recently floated expressions of interest, and the shortlisted contractors are likely to be issued tender documents within Q1 of 2019. Several international contractors are keen to show interest including Abu Dhabi�s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), India's Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Italy�s Saipem, US's McDermott, UK's Petrofac, TechnipFMC and possibly other local contractors. The project involves the first phase of Umm Shaif long-term development plan (LTDP-1) that aims to de-bottleneck the capacity constraints in the existing Umm Shaif infield pipelines network and includes several new offshore facilities. The work scope is set to include at least three new wellhead towers; one riser platform; new alpha towers; multiple pipeline segments; de-bottlenecking of existing pipeline network; workovers for 30 wells on existing wellhead towers; water injection facilities and other associated infrastructure.
